What a Consultation Covers
Kirsty will assess the areas you'd like to discuss and ask what you're hoping to change. Volumising treatment options are prescription-only, and specifics, including suitability and cost, are only discussed face to face, never in advance.
Who a Consultation Suits
Anyone noticing a loss of definition or fullness in the face, or anyone wanting to understand their options before committing to anything. Men as well as women: male facial structure and skin thickness differ, so the assessment accounts for that. As with every prescription-only option at Enrich Aesthetics, some people aren't suitable candidates, including anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding, and this is confirmed at your appointment.
If treatment goes ahead, Kirsty covers aftercare specific to what is agreed on the day. Individual results and how long they last vary, and are not something to promise in advance on a website. The sequence is the same every time: enquiry, in-person consultation, medical and treatment history, clinical assessment, a discussion of options and their limitations, informed consent, and only then treatment where it is considered appropriate. Nothing is booked or priced over the phone or by email.

What happens at a volumising treatment consultation?
Kirsty assesses the areas you want to discuss, most commonly cheeks, lips, jawline or nasolabial folds, and talks through whether a prescription-only option is suitable for you.
How much does a consultation cost?
There is no charge for the consultation itself. A $27.50 telehealth scripting fee applies where a prescription is involved, which is why a first injecting appointment costs more than the ones after it. The cost of any treatment is discussed in person, because prescription-only medicines cannot lawfully be priced in advertising.
Can I book if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
Volumising treatment options are generally not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Discuss your circumstances with Kirsty at consultation.
What's the difference between this and fine lines and wrinkles?
They address different concerns. One relates to lines that appear with facial expression, the other to lost fullness and contour. Kirsty can advise which, if either, suits your goals at consultation.
Why is there no pricing on this page?
Because the options in this category are prescription-only medicines, and Australian law prohibits advertising prescription medicines to the public. That covers naming them, describing them and pricing them. Cost is discussed in person once an assessment has established what, if anything, is appropriate.
Which parts of the face change with age?
More than most people expect, and rarely in isolation. The cheeks, the temples, the area beneath the eyes, the chin and the jawline all change as fat pads shift and reduce and as the bone beneath them alters. The folds beside the nose and mouth are often the first thing noticed, but they are frequently a consequence of change higher in the face rather than the origin of it. What does an assessment actually look at?
Facial proportion and structure, where volume has changed and where it has not, skin quality and elasticity over those areas, and how the areas relate to each other rather than in isolation. Your medical and treatment history and anything relevant to healing are covered in the same appointment.
Is the assessment different for men?
The structure is identical. Male facial structure and skin thickness sit in a different range, so what the assessment records differs, and the planning accounts for that.
What if a treatment is not appropriate for me?
Then that gets said, along with the reasons. A different approach or a referral may be recommended instead. A consultation does not commit you to anything, and a fair number of people book one specifically to rule things out.
