A Brighter, Simpler Process
In-chair teeth whitening at Enrich Aesthetics starts with a consultation, where Kirsty checks your teeth and talks through what you're hoping to achieve, before a specialised whitening gel is applied and activated with a whitening light in timed intervals.
What's Included
Every whitening appointment includes a consultation, the treatment itself in timed intervals, and a complimentary aftercare pack to take home. The gel is applied and activated with a whitening light in timed cycles rather than left on for one long stretch, which is what the express and full-length options actually differ by. Whitening is $100 per 30 minutes, so a 30-minute express appointment and a 60-minute appointment differ in the number of cycles completed rather than in the product used.
Who It Suits
Most adults are suitable candidates. Sensitivity during or after treatment is common and usually temporary. Kirsty checks your teeth and gums at consultation and will flag anyone who is not a good candidate before any treatment begins, rather than after payment. Existing dental work is the most common reason someone is not suitable: crowns, veneers, bonding and fillings do not change colour with whitening gel, so a tooth that has been restored will stay the shade it was made while the teeth beside it lighten. Untreated decay, gum disease and very recent dental work are also reasons to wait.
Whitening is $100 per 30 minutes, and a top-up appointment booked within 1 to 6 weeks of your initial treatment is available at a reduced rate. Teeth whitening is a cosmetic procedure rather than a prescription treatment, so unlike some services on this site the cost can be published here rather than held to a consultation. How long it lasts comes down largely to diet and habits, and Kirsty will be straight with you about that at the appointment rather than after it.

FAQs
How long does teeth whitening last?
Results vary by individual, largely depending on diet and habits like smoking or coffee. A top-up appointment (booked within 1 to 6 weeks of your initial treatment) is available at a reduced rate.
What should I know before booking teeth whitening?
Kirsty assesses your teeth and gums at consultation before any whitening treatment to confirm you're a suitable candidate.
Will it hurt?
Some people experience temporary sensitivity during or after treatment. This is common and usually settles on its own.
Take-home or in-chair, what's the difference?
Enrich Aesthetics offers in-chair whitening only, completed in a single appointment with a specialised gel and light rather than a take-home kit.
What does teeth whitening cost?
Whitening is $100 per 30 minutes, so the express and full-length appointments differ by the number of timed cycles completed. A top-up booked within 1 to 6 weeks of your initial treatment is available at a reduced rate.
Will whitening work on crowns, veneers or fillings?
No. Whitening gel changes the shade of natural tooth enamel and has no effect on restorative dental work, so a crown, veneer, bonded area or filling stays the colour it was made. If you have visible restorations, Kirsty will talk through what that means for the overall result at consultation.
How should I look after my teeth afterwards?
You are given a complimentary aftercare pack to take home along with instructions specific to your appointment. The first day or two matters most, and how long the result holds depends largely on diet and on habits like coffee, red wine and smoking.
Is this a dental treatment?
It is a cosmetic whitening procedure carried out by a Registered Nurse, not dental care. It is not a substitute for seeing a dentist, and anything found at consultation that belongs with a dentist rather than a cosmetic clinic gets said plainly.
